This Chenin Blanc was made from a certified heritage vineyard, planted in 1977 on Kliprug, a farm close to Mischa. Being an old vineyard, the yield is low but the quality is much higher than a young vineyard. The wines were made in an unwooded style to express as many natural fruit flavors as possible and to let the vineyard and fruit do the talking rather than the wood.

Chenin Blanc is the most widely planted wine grape in South Africa. Its versatility is obvious as it is used to make everything from fresh sparkling wines to brandy to well-balanced dessert wines. This Chenin Blanc was made from a certified heritage vineyard, planted in 1977, from Kliprug, a farm very close to Mischa. Being an old vineyard, the yield is a lot lower but produces more complex and high-quality grapes.
