Vinification
The grapes are harvested at Tierhoek, and then fermented for 2 weeks on the skins. 2. Once the fermentation has ended, the wine is then pressed and transferred to wooden barrels. 3. After 6 months the wine is blended and filtered clean.

The approximately 60yr old Grenache is from a single block that is on well drained, decomposed sandstone. The vines are all bush-vine and unirrigated. All farming is done organically. Yields are very low at 2 tonne per hectare.
